EA listens to their fanbase. Example? Battlefield 2. New patch came out yesterday with a new map, some of the changes included "Blackhawk cannot cap flags anymore", "Anti-air missiles deal more damage and are faster", both things the community complained about for months.

Blizzard nerfed classes in WoW due to complainers.

There is a difference between "OMG, HE KILLED ME, BAN HIM", and "This skill is overpowered because..."

One of the things I really like about the GW community is people actually type in proper english and paragraphs. People get REALLY technical about the skills. We even have a radio show, Weapon of Choice, that discusses tactics and strategies of Guild Wars.

I'm not arguing that people aren't stupid, that comes with any online
game. The nerfs to farming will eliminate a lot of the current farming
community because they're either too unskilled to adapt or too lazy.

To an extent the nerfs have worked. But it's not noob now, if nothing
else it's harder than ever, thus calling for more skill.
